I’m Maria, a native of Upper Bavaria and a passionate hiker and travel writer. With three published books about Bavaria and years of experience exploring trails in Bavaria and around the globe, the mountains have always been my true home. After traveling and hiking across the world, I felt a strong calling to share the hidden beauty of Bavaria - especially with visitors who might not speak German. Many travelers to Munich never get the chance to experience the breathtaking landscapes that is just an hour away. That’s why I founded this company: to offer expertly guided hiking tours that are local, authentic, and unforgettable.
